Beliefs: FDR believed in hugely increasing the government involvement from the policies of president Hoover. His policies were the opposite and he wanted to directly help the people and business' who were struggling and America approved his willingness to get involved after Hoovers methods failed dramatically. FDR created a New Deal for the government to begin fixing the economy and foused on his idea of relief, recovery and reform.
First 100 Days: Right off the bat, FDR had strong plans for digging our country out of the economic crisis. This is why he spent the first 100 days of his presidency dedicated to working with Congress to pass a huge number of different laws that would help fight the economic crisis at hand
