OVERVIEW
The Great Depression was the biggest economic collapse in the history of the United States and took place from approximately 1929-1939. The Great Depession was mainly contributed to the stock market crash of 1929, bank failures, installment plans and false prosperity but there were many factors that contributed to it not any specifically. During the Great Depression, 50% of Americans were either unemployed or underemployed.
